Fresh off multiple Emmy wins for the final season of The Late Show, Colbert discussed life after cancellation, his upcoming Lord of the Rings film project with his son, and gifted Kimmel a Captain America shield.
Beard Promise Kept
Colbert revealed his wife Evie “hates” the beard because it reduced their “kiss count.” Kimmel provided the clippers, and Colbert did the honors himself to audience cheers.
