Netflix has set a premiere date and released first-look photos for its new six-part adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.
The series will debut on December 3, 2026. Emma Corrin stars as Elizabeth Bennet, with Jack Lowden as Mr. Darcy, Olivia Colman as Mrs. Bennet, and Rufus Sewell as Mr. Bennet.
Additional cast includes Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet, Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley, Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham, Rhea Norwood as Lydia Bennet, and Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourgh.
Written by Dolly Alderton and directed by Euros Lyn, the adaptation is described as a faithful, classic take on the beloved novel. The story follows the Bennet sisters as they navigate love, family, and society’s expectations when wealthy bachelors arrive in their neighborhood.
