Julia Louis-Dreyfus will make her Broadway debut this fall in a star-packed revival of Jon Robin Baitz’s Other Desert Cities.
The limited engagement begins previews on September 29, 2026, at the Hudson Theatre, with an official opening on October 18. The run is scheduled through January 17, 2027.
Louis-Dreyfus stars as Polly opposite Ed Harris as Lyman, Allison Janney as Silda, Joe Keery as Trip, and Lily Rabe as Brooke. Tony winner John Benjamin Hickey directs the production.
The play centers on a politically connected Palm Springs family whose Christmas Eve is upended when their daughter returns with a memoir that threatens to expose long-buried secrets. It originally premiered Off-Broadway in 2011 before transferring to Broadway and earning multiple Tony nominations.
This marks Louis-Dreyfus’s first stage appearance in more than four decades. Tickets are currently on sale for the limited run.
