Drake premiered his self-described “not-so-short film” Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) on Tuesday night, unveiling new music that includes a country-leaning take on Ella Langley’s hit “Choosin’ Texas.”
The project mixed fresh music videos from Drake’s recent albums with several previously unheard tracks. One of the standout moments features Drake interpolating Langley’s chart-topping country song alongside Don Toliver in a slowed, R&B-inflected version.
FOMO also includes collaborations with Yeat and additional new material. Cameos and appearances throughout the film feature Sexyy Red, Winnie Harlow, Lena the Plug, and Drake’s mother Sandi Graham.
Drake described the film as “self funded surrealism” and “a story about making the absolute most of it all in one summer.” The video briefly appeared on YouTube before being removed, leaving fans waiting for a potential re-upload or separate official releases of the new songs.
The project continues Drake’s busy 2026, following his multi-album release earlier in the year. The country-inspired direction on the “Choosin’ Texas” track has drawn particular attention as the rapper expands his sound.
As of Wednesday, the full FOMO film has not returned to YouTube, and no official release date for the new songs has been announced.
