Robert De Niro is in talks to portray legendary Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda in an upcoming biopic.
The project, currently titled Tommy & Me, is in development at Skydance Sports. Lasorda led the Dodgers to two World Series titles and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
De Niro’s involvement would mark another high-profile sports-related role for the veteran actor. Further details on the script, director and production timeline have not yet been confirmed.
