Netflix has set a December 3, 2026 premiere date for its six-part adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and released new first-look photos of the cast.
Emma Corrin stars as Elizabeth Bennet opposite Jack Lowden as Mr. Darcy. Olivia Colman plays Mrs. Bennet, Rufus Sewell is Mr. Bennet, Freya Mavor appears as Jane Bennet, and Daryl McCormack takes on Mr. Bingley. Louis Partridge plays Mr. Wickham, with Jamie Demetriou as Mr. Collins and Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourgh.
The series is written by Dolly Alderton and directed by Euros Lyn. It is described as a faithful classic adaptation that follows the Bennet sisters as they navigate love, family, and society’s expectations when wealthy bachelors arrive in their neighborhood.
New images show the full ensemble in period costume. The six episodes will stream globally on Netflix beginning December 3.
